Quite new to trading cryptocurrencies. Given how unstable the price of bitcoin is, wouldn't it make more sense to use USD to purchase altcoins instead?

I always buy with the USD as i can calculate my profit more easier. Never tried with the bitcoins as its not stable and hard to count the profit

it doesn't make any difference if you buy something with USD or BTC
